Environmental Studies

Our vision for EVS at Teach for India is for our students to explore and understand themselves, others and the community around them and then to be able to raise their voices respectively and take action towards addressing issues that matter to them. Through EVS Students learn that they, their experience and voice matter and that they can influence and lead change as children today.
Everyday life is an excellent ‘teacher’ of EVS. It is imperative that we encourage our students to observe the world around them, share their stories and experiences and offer different perspectives to help our students develop their understanding of themselves, others, and the world around them. Therefore through this page, you will see examples of how the 8C’s can be fostered both inside and outside of the EVS classroom.
